| For the convenience of patients, a pharmacy is located in the main Clinic building on the first floor. In addition to filling physician prescriptions, the pharmacy carries an array of over-the-counter medications, including vitamins, and other health care items.
The pharmacy makes it possible for you to pick-up your prescription immediately after your doctor's appointment so you do not have to stop again on the way home. Furthermore, the prices are competitive with other local drug stores. The pharmacy will accept most insurance plans as well as credit cards for payment. You can get prescriptions filled between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM on weekdays and the pharmacy is opened from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Saturdays. Computerized prescription records are maintained and you may call in refill requests. Pharmacists provide individual counseling about the use of prescribed medications and interactions with other prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and food. We also perform drug evaluations and consult with the patients' doctors. Five pharmacists are on staff: Lisa Morgan, R.Ph (pharmacy manager), Brenda McBride, R.Ph.,Laurence Leonard, R.Ph, John Mini, R.PH., and Leslie Pond, R.Ph. The pharmacy is owned and operated by Lakes Region General Hospital exclusively for Clinic patients. |
